While attending the Toward a Science of Consciousness 2012 Conference earlier this week,
The conference, (organized by the Co-Founders of the Center for Consciousness Studies, Tucson, AZ, David Chalmers, PhD and Stuart Hameroff, MD)
designed to be an interdisciplinary approach to consciousness, included a wide breadth of aspects including
“neuroscience, cognitive science, artificial intelligence, psychology, philosophy, neurobiology, medicine, quantum physics and cosmology”
and they were expecting over 500 scientists to be in attendance from all around the globe.
